if time was magic,
     and i could have it,
if time could wash away the tears,
     and scare away the fears,
if time could recolor the memories,
     and perform the remedies,
if time could bring me back,
     and life i could retract,
if time could push me forward,
     and i could miss the horrid,

but, time has put me here,
     without you near.
and time has given me a present,
     the gift of the present,
and time is of the now,
     both the fair and the foul,
and time teaches a lesson,
     that we shouldn't be guessin',

   because time causes smiles and strife,
        the complete version of life

i wrote this poem while i was originally trying to write someting for my parent's anniversary, but instead this came out. huummm, i hope its okay.

I love the last two lines. It's really cool, but I'm not sure you should give it to your parents.
